Sunderland-based Smart Media has hired three experienced media professionals, Andrew Armstrong, Lewis Milbourne And Rosie AdamsTo strengthen its in-house team and support its fast-growing client roster.
Andrew, who has worked in global media organizations including Publicis, Group M and Densu Aegis before returning to his hometown Northeast and starting his own venture in 2017, has joined the ambitious media business as media director for book advertising in the UK and internationally. Rosie has returned to the North East from London to take on the role, and will bring a wealth of experience in account management and strategic advice, working with clients including Weeks, Tesco Mobile, Sky, Shell and Direct Line.
The appointments will strengthen the senior team in smart media and allow the firm to build an outstanding trading across 2021, resulting in the business doubling its revenue. Smart Media is forecasting a three-digit growth across 2022 again.

The firm - which works with Puma, Go Outdoors, Hays Travel & Mola TV - hired Rosie in June to complement Andrew and Lewis' skills and provide strategic oversight of client accounts.
